Romantic Fall Florals
Discover how this lover of rustic finds combines farm-stand flowers with vintage treasures to create statement centerpieces perfect for late summer into fall.
|Ann Couser Kittredge of Dabbling and Decorating ushers in autumn’s glorious hues with sundry flowers and vintage vessels inside her coastal Maine home. Gathered at a local roadside farm stand, these end-of-summer blooms herald the coming of fall and are paired with household items used as vases. Old paint cans, buckets, antique crocks, baskets and terra-cotta pots are just some of Ann’s favorite go-to vessels for her farm-fresh flowers. The end result is a dreamy juxtaposition of hard and soft. “Combining fresh-cut flowers with vintage treasures feels so romantic to me,” she says. “There’s just something about the softness of the florals combined with a vintage texture that creates such a pleasing elegance for any room in the house.”
