Wrap Faux Candles in Sweaters
Repurpose colorful but worn-out woollies into winter cozies for faux candles with these simple instructions.
![]() |
1. Choose a sweater and cut out a square or rectangle shape, depending upon the size of your candle.
2. Fold in about 1/4" along the top and bottom of your material and glue or stitch in place to prevent the edges from fraying.
3. Fold your material in half, with the pattern facing to the inside, and match up the two unfinished edges. Sew or glue the edges together, creating a seam. Turn the fabric sleeve right side out.
4. Sew or glue on buttons, zippers or other embellishments for added style.
This project is intended for use only with faux candles.
