Cleaning and caring for your paintbrushes properly will result in years of use.
To get the most out of your paintbrushes, follow these tips:
• Clean your brushes immediately after use. Wipe away most of the paint residue on paper towels or rags before rinsing in water or solvent (as recommended by the paint manufacturer).
• Clean the base of the bristles as well as the ends to remove as much paint as possible.
• Do not store brushes standing upright in a container of water or solvent. This will cause the bristles to bend, and, in the case of water, might loosen the glue that holds the base of the bristles to the handle, causing them to fall out.
• After cleaning and rinsing your brushes, hang them or lay them flat to dry.
