    Mary, your home is lovely. I live in the Seattle area. but sometimes it's difficult to find furnishings and accessories for this style. Where do you like to "hunt" in the NW?

      @EllenS_2802 Ellen, thank you so much. We always have our eyes open for early American things, but they are scarce in this area. We have had some luck in Silverdale @ Silverdale Antiques, they have the "usual antiques", but if you like early things, ask the owners, they have a back room with mostly early items. The Antique Company in Chimicum is a place that deals mostly in English furniture, but we have found some nice scrubbed pine pieces there. In Sumner, The New England Saltbox has very nice reproduction accessories in the front and nice antiques in the back, mostly smalls.

      How about you? Do you have any good sources in the area?

    LOVE your antiques and how they are displayed. You are right...the HUNT is what keeps us going!
