    Jolea, how did you go about adding the black paint. I like your idea and would consider doing my poor time worn kitchen. My problem is I have a galley kitchen rather narrow and long so I have to be careful about using too dark a color lest the room take on cave like quailities. I would appreciate any suggestion the readers would have.

      @Theresa The raised panels I painted with a matte finish.Because I am country I don't like my finishes to be shiny. I hope this can help.

    I love your cupboards. I do have a question though, are your cupboards real wood?? I have a double wide and my cupboards aren't real of course so I am not sure if it would work or not. I truly love this look.

      @Love2Craft Not sure what material your cabinets are made of but all surfaces can be painted. Just prime it first, let me know what they are made of and I will let you know. My email is chinadoll76@pbtcomm.net.
